Allan has twenty years experience supporting people with diverse needs, those with physical, psychological and/or social difficulties who are looking for help in one way or another.

As well as using his core skills in therapy Allan has developed a unique way of working. He uses humour, playfulness and laughter in his sessions as he believes these are tools that not only make his client(s) feel good but also assist the therapeutic approach itself and this has been borne out in the many successes he has achieved.

He works on both a one-to-one basis and in group situations across many disciplines. As well as Victim Support and Mind he has worked in schools (both primary and secondary), FE colleges, Hospitals, workplaces, with young offenders and young people's groups.

He also trains volunteers and staff in his therapeutic practices and techniques and has also worked with other practitioners in providing workshops and other group activities.
